Swim Lessons!!

Gram has been taking Pete to swim lessons for the last couple weeks and I guess that he is doing great! My biggest fear was that he would freak out putting his face under water.....well obviously that is not the case:)

Swimming

I love the 4Th of July. It is seriously my favorite holiday of all time!! I love that it is warm outside and it is full of family and friends and amazing food everywhere you go!! We got to go swimming at Jenn's (my sister-in law) parents house for Coltons b-day. The kids LOVED it. And lets not lie, so did the adults:)

My sweet little Piper was a mad women! At this age Pete was a little nervous about the water and cry when we would drag him in the pool, but not my Piper! She would jump right in! Even if I wasn't paying attention. Makes me a little nervous. Thanks Jenn for the great pictures that I stole off your blog:)

Pete's spring show

Pete had a spring show up at Wheeler Farm for preschool. It was so stinkin cute!!

The plus about "the mullet"

First of all I have to apologize for the blurriness of these pictures. They are taken with my phone (no, I don't have one of those high tech phones that pass as a camera, Ipod, computer etc...)

Also most of you do know how "easy" it is to get a 15month old to hold still while you are trying to get a picture... with that being said.....

Piper, my little sweet drama queen, has been struggling the past few months with a hair ordeal!! I have tried numerous times to do piggy tails, but her hair is so soft and I could never get the elastic to stay in. So we just wash it and leave it. I have heard so many things like: "cut that hair" or "I love her hair! It totally shows her personality" or my personal favorite " that is one wicked mullet" Which is the truth!

Well of course I don't want my little girl looking like a hillbilly rocker from the eighties, but I also didn't want to cut her hair! She is my 'little girl' people, I want her to look like one! I have been weighing the options when one day while my sister Sage(the hairstylist) was watching my kids, she sent me this picture. With a little help from my sister I have learned how to make it work with the softest of hair. Don't get me wrong, I do know how to do hair, I grew up with 3 sisters! This has just been a little difficult:) So she still does have the business up front but........

Man! Can she rock the party in the back!!!

Happy Birthday My Sweet Piper

So I know that I am a day early, (Piper's b-day is actually tomorrow, the 13th) but I am scared that I won't have time to post this, so I am doing it today. Piper is a little pill!! She started walking Christmas day and it has developed into a full blown run!! Some of her favorite things are: FOOD, dancing, taking baths, leading the music in church, playing with Pete, licking the cold windows, climbing in the fridge..I think that I could go on and on..... Her dislikes include: BABY FOOD! Don't even think about giving her anything but the real thing! Getting her faced washed, wiping her nose, closing the door before she can take off outside, getting dressed (this girl likes to be naked!) One year ago (tomorrow) Piper blessed this family with her arrival, words cannot express how grateful I am for my children. I am so blessed to be a mom. Happy Birthday baby girl, we love you so very much!!

Can you imagine......

what these 3 little trouble makers will be doing 2-3 yrs from now???? All born within 6months of each other. Not to mention there will be a 4Th little girl born into the family 7 weeks from now! I have a feeling family get togethers will be full of DRAMA with these little ones!! Remi, Piper and Haylee

I have to say I love the fact that my kids have cousins their same age and the fact that we all live so close to each other. Aren't they so cute???

The whole fam dam

So I think that this is the first time that all my siblings have been in the same place at the same time and with a camera! I know I wish that Piper was looking at the camera too.

You know I didn't realize how big my family was till I looked at this picture. I grew up 3rd of 6 kids and I guess that was kind of a lot but I would have never thought that it would become this big and still be growing. I love my family so much, and I am so extremely grateful that families can be together forever.

We will mourn you 'til September 2010.

Dear Conan, we just wanted you to know that we were on your side the whole time. You will be missed more then you know. We await the possible return of the Walker Texas Ranger lever, the "string dance" & the self gratifying bear along with the many countless off the cuff comments.

TUBE TIME

I LOVE LOVE LOVE giving my kids a bath! I don't know what it is. They love it too! It doesn't matter if only one of them needs a bath, they both will end up in there anyway. Guess you can't be too clean:)
